This page documents the changes and new features in this release. This release includes Athena 0.8.046 and is mostly a maintenance release. Artemis and Hephaestus are unchanged.
Athena 0.8.046
New features
Auto plotting when switching groups is now available in the normal view. There is a configurable preference in general->groupreplot. This parameter can also be set in a submenu under the Group menu.
- The auto-alignment fit can now be made with either the derivative or the smoothed derivative
- When plotting smoothed derivative, say so in the y-axis label
- If any item in a merge in energy is a xanes record, then the merge is a xanes record
- No longer ask about sorting data, just go ahead and sort
- When importing a reference channel, leave the focus on the data group, not the reference group once the import is finished
- Raise the proper plot options tab after importing data
Bug fixes
- Truncation dialog:
- Don't perform truncation if the truncation energy is outside the data range of a group
- Fixed a bug where, after truncating, the groups spline kmax was set to the value of the normalization emax
- Fixed a couple of uninitialized value bugs when using LCF with older project files
- Fixed various outstanding issues with plugins on Windows (this was mostly a packaging problem)
